I'm Mark and I live in America, but was born in Scotland.

Aim, Dream, Goal, Mission.

To finish my first book and have it published, to then use this as a resource and a tool to facilitate small group retreats and pilgrimages.

I hope to one day own and run a retreat center. This place God willing will be a quiet place of peace and stillness from the business of life. Where people can experience the ripples of spirit and truth, by going through a regular daily rhythm of praise, listening, praying, being still, experiencing silence and resting in God, learning to let go of the cares of the world and letting God have control.

I aspire to be a life coach, or spiritual director, teaching formation through writing, prayerfully pursuing these aims and discover my fit by the leading of the Holy Spirit to discover personally and help others by being a spiritual advisor/mentor.

All over shadowed with love and allowing everything to be Christ centered, and firmly rooted in the scripture, the love letter to all who will listen. Also listen to the voices of the past Celtic saints and their example of living, wrapped up in spending time in nature, Gods creative handy work.

The creative aspect I want to interweave dream of B&B / Retreat center having a gallery for local artists and artisans to display their work and my own work.
How and when this unfolds is in the hands of the Lord.

 Additional Information

My main interests personally are designing and the use of mixed media mostly for greeting cards and coloring books. I create colored glass art with use of a modern material an overlay system (but not as frequently as I had in the past).

I'm presently writing a book which is fiction about a person on a quest for self-discovery and to know God the Monarch of the Universe.  The main character Tobar is assigned an Anam Cara (soul friend) to teach him to become a Seer.  Issidore is this person who will give instruction to Tobar. These are the tools to aid his growth and allow him to hear and discern the Monarch of the Universes leading. I find the Inter weaving of fiction and spiritual disciplines / formation to be very exciting and view this to be a future teaching tool. It is a work in progress and aspire to have this published in the near future.

My other interests involve photography and I enjoy walking and Ornithology.

My family is a big focus of my life, and I desire to be an influence for good in my wife and children's lives.

I attend church on a regular basis, and on occasion have the opportunity to play guitar and harmonica.

I have computer skills on PC and Mac. I'm an avid reader constantly learning from the Bible and spiritual writers to enhance my life, so I can facilitate and help others, for we are all on a quest or journey to know our place in life to be inspired by God. To be an inspiration to others, encouraging all we encounter to press forward in our personal Spiritual Formation, which is a closer walk with the Lord, thorough Jesus Christ, aided by the Holy Spirit.
